How fast will my order arrive?

Currently all of our orders are shipped 2-3 day priority with the US Post Office, or up to 4 days with FedEx. They should arrive within 2-3 business days depending on your distance from our home base in Colorado. Since we ship orders on Monday (unless it's a holiday), you should have them on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Do you offer cheaper shipping?

We find that since we have to ship 2-3 days to avoid spoilage, prices aren't as cheap as we'd like to offer. Currently the US Post Office offers the best flat rate for a 2-3 day priority package. We also offer Fedex Ground shipping, which costs a little more, but is much more reliable. We've done our research, and it's some of the cheapest shipping out there. We don't upcharge the shipping either. Generally you can fit several boxes of chocolate in one of our shipping boxes. The shopping cart calculates adding additional shipping boxes if they are needed. When temperatures are warm (June-September), we have to ship with cold packs to ensure your chocolates arrive safe and sound. During those times, you'll notice shipping will increase slightly. Unfortunately USPS does not guarantee 2-3 day shipping, but most of our orders have made it within that timeframe, with the occasional issue during high volume times.

Won't chocolate melt when it's shipped?

Our chocolate coatings are tempered so they can withstand normal temperatures below 85 degrees F. We freeze your order before shipping to ensure they leave our kitchen at the coldest temperature we can get them. We also send them to you on 2-3 day shipments to assure they will arrive as soon as possible. In the summer months we include cold packs in our shipments to assure your candies arrive safe and sound. If your candies do arrive melted, contact us immediately and we'll help rectify your situation.

How often do you send out orders?

We produce our orders every weekend. That assures that your product is as fresh as it can be. We send out our orders every Monday morning (unless there is a holiday, then it will go out the next business day.) If you order on Sunday through Saturday, your order will be shipped the following Monday. When you check out, you can see the ship days that are available to you.

Can I specify a ship date?

We understand the need to pre-order for special occasions. Currently we'll offer your choice of up to three upcoming weeks of Mondays for shipping. At popular times of the year like Valentine's Day, Easter, and Christmas, we also offer special pre-orders.

Do you ship to my area?

Because of the perishable nature of our products, currently we only ship within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). Customs restrictions prevent us from shipping overseas or out of country due to the time it takes for the product to go through those procedures. We are also not able to ship to PO Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses because we cannot be assured of pickup procedures for these types of addresses.

If I am local, can I pick up my order and save on shipping?

Absolutely! We always love having local customers. If you live in the Denver, Colorado metro area, just check the local order selection in the shopping cart and save on your shipping charge! It is then up to you to chooise your chocolate pickup location on or around the shipping date you chose.

Why have your shipping rates increased?

We strive to seek out the most affordable shipping rates for our customers. There are two reasons our shipping rates will increase. One: If the shipping carrier increases their rates, we simply pass that rate on. We never upcharge for shipping; you pay what we pay! Two: In the warm weather months we must include additional shipping materials to keep your chocolate safe. We pack our shipments with special ice packs that will keep your shipments cold. We simply add the price of those ice packs to your shipping charge.
