Answers:

Where are you located?

We are located near Denver, Colorado in the heart of the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains.

How long will the candies last?

Every order we send comes with a care sheet, but we've had inquires asking this question that helps our customers figure out when to place their order. All of the products are made with fresh ingredients, no preservatives, therefore they are quite perishable. We recommend you refrigerate the truffles as they will last longer. The truffles can last up to a month in the refrigerator, but only about 1-2 weeks safely non-refrigerated. The problem with not using preservatives is that when the candy is enrobed in chocolate, the moisture of the milkfats in the cream are then encased and can begin to grow undesirable bacteria. It is entirely possible this wouldn't happen after a month of non-refrigeration, but we don't recommend it. It's recommended to enjoy the truffles when they are at their most fresh, which is why we make every batch to order.

Why are your candies so expensive?

At first glance they may seem expensive, but they really aren't. Each candy is hand-made with premium ingredients. Our truffles are handmade one by one, and include many steps to achieve a final product. Because of the time and ingredients, we must charge what we do. We are also an artisan chocolatier, and take pride in producing small batches to your order. We have also modeled our prices around what other chocolatiers charge for premium products, and you'll find that we are actually cheaper than many of them.

Why don't all the candies look alike?

Each of our truffles is handmade. The portion of a truffle starts out the same, but the technique of hand-rolling the truffle into a ball gives each piece a unique look. We gaurantee they are all the same size.

How much alcohol is in your candies?

We use, at most, 3 tablespoons per batch, which would equates to each candy containing only 3/100ths of an ounce of alcohol. If you are worried about children getting drunk off our candies, it's pretty unlikely, even if they ate the whole box.

Do you offer any other sizes not listed?

We can do special orders! Sometimes even our regular small box doesn't fit the needs of all our customers. We work with a lot of small business owners that want to give chocolates to their clients, but only want boxes of something as small as 2 and 4 chocolates. Check out our occasions page and then send us an email and we can work on special pricing for your situation.

I have a nut allergy. Do your candies contain nuts?

A very small portion of our product line contains nuts, specifically peanuts, almonds, and hazelnuts. Because many of our candies are packaged into assortments, it's likely all our candies come in contact with nuts at some point.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently work with PayPal for our payments. It's fast, easy, secure and widely accepted across the internet. You do not have to have a PayPal account to order from us. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can use Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express on the secure PayPal page. If you do have PayPal, you can use any of the payment options PayPal allows, including using your PayPal balance. If you are a local customer, we accept cash and personal checks.

Do you have a store I can visit? Are your products available at any stores yet?

Our products are currently only available online. It is our intention to open a store sometime in the future, but for now we are starting small. We plan to talk with local Denver, Colorado merchants soon to have our products available sometime soon.

What if my chocolate arrives melted or damaged? Do you offer refunds?

It's highly unlikely that your chocolate will arrive melted. We have done many test shipments during abnormal weather conditions and haven't lost one yet! In the warm weather months we ship with cold packs to assure the chocolate will stay cool enough to make the trip to your destination. It's pretty hard to damage our product as well, not that it can't happen. We pack all of our products tightly to assure they will arrive in the same condition we packaged them. It is your responsibility to get your package as soon as you can after it has been delivered. It breaks our heart to know that some packages may be sitting in the sun waiting for you to arrive home. If there does happen to be a problem, notify us within 24 hours of arrival with your phone number. We'll need you to ship the chocolates back to us right away. We'll send you a prompt refund or replacement, whichever you prefer.
